Hello from Scottsdale Arizona
Hello everyone. I'm a new "raising them" member, and I'm thrilled to see so many mommies with several years of experience raising children of all ages. As a new mom to a two year old, there are many questions and concerns I have about raising "the happiest toddler on the block" and I must say that I trust moms with experience far more than any author with a Ph.D. (although there are some good pointers in that particular book). Still, experience outweighs research in my book (and my husbands). That said, I am looking to find well-rounded women friends to help answer some mommy (and/or wife-type) questions as well as to meet new people. Hopefully, there will be one or two of you in my neck of the woods, so we can actually meet (someday). I look forward to newfound friendships, and lots of great advice. Sincerely, Jamie P.S. Sorry for the old photo (01/2006)... I need to update my "mommy & me" computer photos. Yikes!

Hi Jamie,

There is Scottsdale Playgroup on Raisingthem, you might want to chek it out.

As far as parenting advice, you will find here a community on which you can count!

Hi Jamie, thanks for the comments on my blog. I will look forward to hearing more from you. My son will be 1 in July and we are looking forward to his first party. Also, as a teacher, I will be home in the summer so I can be a SAHM, at least for a little while. Incidently, great pics of your little girl.

Hi, Jamie! Thanks so much for reading my blog, and taking the time to submit your kind comment!

As the mother of 3 little girls who range in age from (almost) 6 to (almost) 10 years old, please feel free to pick my brain anytime. lol. I remember what it's like to be a new mom, and it's always helpful to have friends with some experience in that arena.
