| Hello there, I am new here. Was browsing puter while boys are napping and found this page and decided to give it a try. I am a 39 year old SAHM of Twin Boys!! Looking to find new friends for me as well as my boys. :) |

Hi Jeanne! My name is Kelly and I am also a mom to a toddler :) Her name is Alana Michele.. she is 1 year old. She was born on March 11th, 2006... how old are the twins? Where do you live? I'm in central Ohio. I have another group on this site.. actually two.. one of them is a local playgroup, I've been on only one playdate so far, and the other one I started was for mom's of little girls (support, advice, etc), but I haven't had any responses to that one yet :) Anyway, I check this site every day
so I would love to chat with you and other moms of toddlers too! :) My daughter, Alana, just started walking! All of her friends that are her age started walking at 10 months old. Alana weighs nearly 25 pounds so it's about time she started walking :) lol Anyway, nice to meet you!

HI Kelly, My boys are 2 1/2, will be 3 on Sept 3rd. We are beginning to plan for that. You know the usual, tracking down the dinosaur cake pan on eBay, finding the right invitations and paper products, presents for each of the boys, going over the guest list and then going over it again, then again, and yet again, planning the menu based on what you think they will eat (3 year olds are such picky eaters). Then you realize you have to just please your kids as opposed to everyone else, afterall it is their birthday.
We live in Philadelphia, PA. I hope to be out of the city withing the next 5 years, I don't want to send them to public school here in the city.
I have begun a small garden on my front porch, when I need a quick breather away from them, I just run outside and check my plants....water if needed, pinch back dead leaves if needed or whatever else can be done in a few minutes. That few minute break really helps with my depression. I have tomatoes, spinach, mesclun mix salad, herbs and flowers. I hope to be successful with my gerdening attempts this year. I have been trying for over 5 years now and just last year I was able to grow 6 cherry tomatoes. I know it doesn't sound like anything to the seasoned gardener but I DON'T have a green thumb so that was a complete success as far as I was concerned. LOL
During their nap time is when I try to do my cleaning, check my emails, my plants (again), plan what will be for dinner or catch the news.
Well gotta go now, the boys are at the table eating their breakfast and screaming for more milk. Gotta go get my coffee so hope to catch ya later!! :)
