We need help
My husband and I have totally different views on how to disipline/raise our son and I am in desperate need of some advice I believe my baby is still to young to understand but my husband thinks that if we don't start now he will walk all over us as he gets older.....but isn't raising your voice and spanking a 15 month old on the hand or the diaper a little much? please help me figure out a way to handle this situation I love my husband but i want what is best for my baby, more than i care whether or not my husband gets upset with me.

Hi Laura,

kids expect us to set limits and it is our role to do so.
The idea it is not to hurt them but to make sure that they know that the behavior is becoming unacceptable.
So if you are unconfortable with the spanking on the diaper find another way that works for you and your husband.
