all kids seem to have these problems now a days, i had them when i was little and now my daughter is starting to show signs at three months old. you are not alone. stick with soaps like dove for sensitive skin. stick with formula like nutragimen (cant spell it). as for asthma, i know a lot of children are on singulair. you are not alone.

You arent alone. My daughter is the same way and she is 14 months old. She seems to always have something wether it is, a cold, a virus, ear infection, or just "sensitive skin." But the doctors say she is perfectly normal kid and very healthy. I guess i have come to blame it on the weather.

Definately you are NOT alone...I took what my doctor was saying one step further and made an appointment to check for allergies. They just kept saying he has a cold or a viral rash or bronchiolitis....it's BS...SO I'm taking him to an allergist who can do the necessary tests to tell me what is going on with him. You don't have to ask your doctor for permission to do that whether it be a food allergy or something in the air (environmental)....although your insurance may require a referral but you should insist if they can't pinpoint what is going on.

Hi Sarah,
My children had this problem for a while too. I don't know if you realize this but a lot of the products we use to clean and moisturize our children have a lot of harmful chemicals in them. My daughter has struggled with eczema since she was about a year old may be younger. I have finally found products that are botanically based and hypoallergenic. She is doing great and her eczema has cleared up a lot. Let me know if you want to know more about them.
I hope your little one feels better!!!
