help !!!!!!
I took in an 8 yr old little girl about 9 months ago but she has started being very violent to my 4 yr old. So far she has choked her hit and kicked her and most recently bit her face breaking the skin. I don't know what to do about this behavior as I have tried many different things. Please Help , I could really use some advise.

Will if it were me i would try and talk to her and see if she would talk to me , i really dont know the situation but if she did not want to talk to me i would take her to someone who she would talk to like her teacher, school counselor,or a child psychologist this is not good behavior and there is a reason for her acting out hope i could help

I agree with Vanessa--the little girl needs to talk to a therapist or counselor. And you need to protect your 4 yr old. Poor thing. I hope the situation gets better--

Hi Corrine,

are you the foster mother or you adopted the 8 years old? In case you are the foster parent I would imagine you should have some support from the agency to help you deal with this problem. Unfortunately I would imagine it is pretty common in situation where kids feel rage and resentment toward the rest of the world for not having their own family. Clearly you have to protect the 4 years old, seek help...
