My mother was throwing a Halloween party. We have not seen eye to eye recently with my sister inlaw. I asked her if Debbie was coming (this is the sister inlaw's sister). My moms reply was, "no, she is going to another party as the girl from Willy Wonka who ate the piece of bubble gum." This woman happens to be a little big. Well needless to say when I saw my sister ln-law that night I mentioned her sister going to someone elses Halloween party. She had no idea what I was talking about. I said, "isn't she going as the girl from Willy Wonka that ate the bubble gum?" I even called my mom over. What my mom never bothered to tell me is that is was all a joke. She tried to cover it up by saying she was talking about someone at her job. I could have died. To this day my mom and I laugh when we talk about it.
