Holiday Giving
My 8 yr old son and I recently went to drop some jackets off at the Salvation Army. While we were there we met a woman who just relocated from Georgia to take care of her two small grandchildren. Her son was in a terrible accident and the mother wanted nothing to do with them. I gave her all the jackets and snow pants I had brough to donate that day and offered to call her with more suff like car seats. After the Salvation Army we were headed to Toysrus to bring back a game. My son suggested instead of exchanging it for something they want why not buy the two little boys this woman is taking care of each a Christmas gift. We did just that and called her the next day to deliver not only the car seats and other items we had but also the gifts my son wanted to buy. Now that is the true meaning of giving.
