Stuck indoors?

Hi ladies. I try to get Benji & I out of the house at least 3 days a week. It can be hard sometimes with babies. Here are something’s that we like to do on a rainy day. *We go to the pet store (keep them in their stroller or in the cart for this trip) Benji loves to look at the small birds; the big loud ones make him cry. There are usually cats & fish too. We have so much fun there. *Check the internet for free places to bring kids. In my area we have a large gardens that is free until noon on Mondays. I'm sure that most places will have something like this. * Go to a mall for lunch. Try to go to one that has a small play are for little kids. In my area there is the Altamonte Springs mall. That way you get to eat out for cheap and can get what you want & they can play too. I have gotten some of the cutest pictures from the play area. *Have a cookie party! Invite some of your mommy friends over and ask each of them to make a batch or their favorite homemade cookies. Have them make about a dozen cookies & bring copies of the recipe for every one. You as the hostess make cookies too & have plenty of milk on hand. Every one will trade cookies so that every one gets to try all of the cookies. Maybe go to the dollar store & buy small cheapy baskets & give them to your guest to put the cookies that they get to take home in. I hope I have helped make a rainy day a bit more fun! i have always taken any of the kids i'm caring for outside to play in the rain. lots of fun. definitely better when it is a warm day.
